Laboratoire PYC presents a new food supplement to defend and repair the skin against environmental pollution: Skin Pollution Defense®. "We wanted to develop a product that meets the problems of the markets we address, whether in China or in European cities where pollution and its impacts have become a growing concern," explains Aurélie De Schuyteneer. The new food supplement is based on ingredients clinically proven by in vitro and in vivo studies. Several Mediterranean extracts including rosemary and olive leaf compose the formula, developed in Aix-en-Provence. The mix of key active ingredients selected in the formula shows results on discomfort and sensitivity to pollution, in response to several pollutants: volatile organic compounds, oxides, particles, ozone, heavy metals, etc. Skin Pollution Defense® targets stress-oxidative, brown spots, wrinkles and skin dehydration related to pollution. The results are significantly positive on these 4 points.

In 2015, Laboratoire PYC was taking home the "Best Tasting Functional Food" trophy at Vitafoods Europe for its Tortitos® range of triangles chips. Since then, the company has been on an upward trend. 4 years after, Laboratoire PYC continues with new flavours. Nacho cheese flavoured Tortitos® complete the range. The offering comes in a variety of flavours with endless possibilities, custom printed bags and presentation displays to facilitate merchandising of brands in store. Vegan versions are also available. A major advantage for this product is that Laboratoire PYC is part of the SOLINA group, a European specialist in salty aromatic mixes. SOLINA combines the know-how of chefs and flavourists.

Edhec business school called on Laboratoire PYC to provide sports food and drinks. Three products have been tested and approved by athletes: a high protein bar, high in vitamins and minerals; a coconut isotonic drink and a clean label whey drink. For the 26th consecutive year, the EDHEC Raid took place at the end of May, for 5 days, in the heart of the magnificent landscapes of the Southern Alps.
