COTEX - Companhia Têxtil de Malhas e Rendas, Lda. was founded in 1975 as a family business. It continues to build its future, now with the contribution of the third generation, through new investments. COTEX has always remained true to its original activity, the manufacturing of textile lace (or lace knit, as it is sometimes referred to) in pieces or strips, primarily for women's clothing, both inner and outer wear. Because it continues to believe in the beauty, elegance, and sophistication of lace, COTEX develops innovative products, either internally or in close collaboration with its clients, for an increasingly broad range of applications, combined with a highly flexible service and quick response times. We are located in Vila Nova de Gaia, in Porto, which is well-known for its textile traditions. We participate in fashion fairs around the world, being present at the most important international events. We supply large international groups/brands.
